”Electronic Music Leipzig“ heißt die erste Compilation von frohfroh, dem Blog für elektronische Musik aus Leipzig.

Wir sind sehr glücklich über unsere erste eigene Compilation. Dreizehn Stücke, die vor allem die Vielfalt der Leipziger Elektronik-Szene verdeutlichen soll. Und so finden sich neben House und angeteastem Techno auch viele experimentellere Ansätze bis hin zu einem weirden Schmutzige Teenager-Rap kurz vor Schluss.

Und es reihen sich bekannte neben weniger bekannte, aber ebenso überzeugende Artists in die Tracklist ein. Viele der Stücke sind im Vorfeld oder während unserer Crowdfunding-Aktion erst entstanden, andere wurden als schlummernde Perlen von den Festplatten hervorgeholt.

Wer aber ist Werner Schulze? Karl Marx Stadt steckt hinter dem Ambient-Outro unserer Compilation. Demnächst startet er mit Edition Schulze ein Autorenlabel für Ambient. Ihr werdet davon auf frohfroh lesen.
